How do I rank a squeez page?

Hello Everyone,
I am going to promote a clickbank offer by making a sales page for it but the question is how do I get it ranked?

Lets say I have a sales page abc and it is a long sales page. I know It is very very difficult to rank this page. Can I do something like this abc/blog/articles and write diffrent articles under abc/blog with low competition keywords and try to get that ranked?

and how will I be ranking those posts do I have to write tons of post? or how many do you suggest as I don't plaing on ruing a blog but trying to sell a product.

I hope you understand what I am trying to ask here. Also suggest me on how should I be ranking this page.

Thanks
