Real Facebook fans from fiverr?

I wonder how the guys selling real Facebook fans for your Facebook fan page on fiverr do actually get the fans? How does this work? They claim the fans are real, not bots, no fake accounts. Is this worth it? I consider buying some FB fans to promote my business.
