Is coecting Facebook and other social network account a good idea?

Add social network accounts to a website has been the trend right now, but updating each one by hand seems to be a tiring work, is there a way to coect all of them together and update them all for one time work?
Or should I just diversify the content, edit and update them one by one?
Another problem, Google has been hard on indexing new pages of my site right now, it get really slow and not steady, is there some new changes of google or some news?
Thx for any response and helpful info, kind of getting confused about how google index my site right now!
