Should I be careful posting affiliate links? Can these be tracked back to me?

Thinking about setting up a review site with affiliate links. If I post a link to my site, which contains affiliate links, and then comment the link all over relevant Facebook groups, twitter, and blog Idea - is this illegal/could this get me in trouble? Second question: Can people take a commission junction or any affiliate link and somehow trace it back to me? Thoughts on using fake name/address to signup for affiliate programs?
